Brush and soap:
Mühle Silvertip Fibre® 21mm and Saponificio Varesino 70th Anniversary Beta 4.1:
Simple brush Mühle Silvertip Fibre® 21mm and the Saponificio Varesino 70th Anniversary Beta 4.1 is a 1+1=3! So what a nice bowl of foam again. In my Chinese travel bowl in no time a nice tough, high quality foam. The soap only needs to see a little hot water in a brush, whether it's a €3 pig, or a €150 badger and everything in between doesn't matter. It foams like a fool and shaves well. The smell is also subdued, but delicious, all right.
Blade and razor:
The Saddle Stainless Blades for the 2nd time used.
The blade, the Saddle Stainless Blades, leaves me somewhat in doubt. Do I have to get rid of this one, am I doing something wrong, or is this one really malfunctioning in an effective razor? In the Mühle R41 (2011) the Saddle Stainless Blades bounces over my face despite the super foam. If it stays that way, it will go into the piggy bank tomorrow. First try it in a softer razor. But this was no fun. Just make sure the combi doesn't bite, but after that it is smooth. If I'm standing in front of the mirror with the feeling of a novice, there are 2 possibilities, I'm drunk or the material is no good. In the morning at 7 a.m. I go for the last one.
Result: BBS.
Finally: Still a pleasant twist given to this lesser turn with the 4711 Echt Kölnisch Wasser, Mennen Baume Energisant and Loris E-048 Cool Water.

After the first pass I had doubts if the blade was still ok. By the third pass my face was smooth. It could be I start mastering the 37c.

Shaving Soap: DR Harris Arlington
After Shave: Pinaud Citrus Musk

Shaving Brush: Shavemac 28 mm. Fan Silvertip Badger 2 bander

DE-Razor: ATT S1
DE- Blade: Gillette Rubie Platinum Plus 1x

I was very pleased with the new acquaintance with the ATT S1.
With a fresh Gillette Rubie knife a comfortable shave behind me.

The efficiency is not as high as for example the Paradigm, Wolfman or Mulcuto Nadelspitzen, but especially in times when my illness plays up and the skin feels burned, the comfortable shaving feeling is a plus.

Thanks to Tjebbe from whom I can borrow the ATT. daumenh!

Yesterday, while looking for a new bottle of aftershave, I found some long forgotten shaving materials, including a new Arlington shaving stick.
And that smell of the Arlington remains a delight. rasierensmilie

  • B&M Fougère Gothique
  • J&T Marblewood Tuxedo
  • Green Vetiver AS
3 rounds, smooth, the blade feels a bit ehh used, time to switch? Still a BBS and a DFS with a lot of blade feel, the silent warning that this one can bite if you mistreat it teufel_lachend
The Gothique is heavenly, what a scent, what a soap :respect_schild Such a shame its Angelic counterpart is not my thing. The Vetiver is hardly needed but a nice support smell as the scent of the soap:verwarnung1 stays in your nostrils for at least a couple of hours. So if you rather have those that do ot interfere with your EdT or AS, this is not for you!

What a nice lather, no, scentwise it's nothing fancy, but it whips up so easily and it delivers.

Enjoy the day!
