Brush and soap:
Yaqi R1605-S Tuxedo and Simpson Sandalwood:
The Simpson Sandalwood is a deliciously pure scented shaving cream. Got a sample from Jan Zoethout and there is still no end to it. Nice nourishing foam that makes the razor run smoothly. With the Yaqi R1605-S Tuxedo it has been transformed into a rich foam. Pressed it into my Mühle bowl and when it runs out of Simpson the next sample goes in. Shave up this sample and slowly bring some order back to what is lying around here.
Blade and razor:
Used the Treet Dura Sharp Stainless for the 7th x.
I put the Treet Dura Sharp Stainless in the piggy bank today. Necessary, doubtful. However, in view of the experience with the two blades previously used, this one is allowed to go. Felt better than the first ones and then 7X is fine. The Lutz Slant is such a razor, which actually always shaves well and possibly, this is why the Treet Dura Sharp Stainless also performed well on this 7th x, but it is good, because my average over all blades is 7,37.
Result: BBS.
Finally: again a nice woody finish with Eyüp Sabri Tuncer Tütün, TFS Crazy Sandalwood ASB and Provence et Nature Santal Absolu. So that will stick for a while.

Semogue 1305 Boar Bristle Shaving Brush and Simpson Sandalwood:
With the Semogue 1305 Boar Bristle Shaving Brush the last remaining Simpson Sandalwood finished, so tomorrow the next sample. Just enough foam from the Simpson to shave with, so it can be removed from the selection. Tasty soap, which might come in my rotation one day.
Blade and razor:
Used the Tiger Platinum for the 1st time.
A new blade from the Czech Republic this morning to test the Tiger Platinum. Wasn't disappointing, but it didn't shave very smoothly, but that was the first use, so no judgement yet. The Merkur 39C Slant Long Handle Barber Pole is an expressive razor and may be able to make the Tiger Platinum feel very noticeable. Smooth, but can be done with a little more comfort.
Result: BBS.
Finally: Eyüp Sabri Tuncer Tütün, Naturlife Krem Vazelin Argan Ve Aloevera Özlü and Loris E-162 Viktor & Rolf Spicebomb on it, spicy and woody finish.

De van der Lovett is a nice soap and shaving with the shavette is harder then with a straight. The change of cutting yourself is bigger.

Brush and soap:
Semogue SOC Badger Cherrywood and Mama Bear Siberian Fir Needle:
Mama Bear Siberian Fir Needle is a soap I will not buy. This monster is very frothy, as can be expected from MB soap with the Semogue SOC Badger Cherrywood, but the smell, if any, does not appeal to me. Too weak. So make up this sample and that's it then
Blade and razor:
Used the Tiger Platinum for the 2nd time.
The blade is also not a success. With this Tiger Platinum I don't get smooth. Tomorrow I will try again in another razor, but today I switched to the Schick Injector in round 2. Whatever position I tried with the Merkur 510 Progress, the Tiger Platinum wasn't shaving. So tomorrow I'll test it in an L6, but I'm sure I'll have another blade ready.
Result: JFS.
Finally: still cheered up with Eyüp Sabri Tuncer Kolonya Klasik Limon, Vivo Per Lei Hyacinth Hand & Body Lotion and a nice smell of Loris E-012 Attitude. This bottle of Loris is empty, but I don't think it will be replaced. Smells nice, but there are nicer ones in this (Giorgo Armani) fragrance direction.
Actually not such a best turn.
