Semogue 1305 Boar Bristle Shaving Brush and Eufros Sandalo:
This morning another Eufros soap sample was used. This time the last remaining Sandalo. With the Semogue 1305 Boar Bristle Shaving Brush the Eufros Sandalo whipped up in my Polish bowl. That gives a good foam to shave with. Technically there is nothing wrong with the Eufros soaps and I can shave very well with them. Unfortunately the smell is not always appropriate for me and so is this sandalwood. I have several sandalwood fragrances, but this is certainly not in my top 5. There is a scented note in the base, which seems a bit rancid to me. I like heavy pure sandalwood scents and haven't found one so far, which appeals to me more than the Crazy Sandalwood from TFS.
Blade and razor:
The Centwin Super Platinium for the 6th x used.
In July 2016 Centwin Super Platinium was used for the first time and lasted 6 times. Then found it a usable mediocre blade. Now the 2nd also used 6x. I am quite satisfied with it. Not a super blade, but more than enough. The combination, now the Rockwell Razors 6s with the Centwin Super Platinium, is very decisive for the comfort of the blade. In the 6s with plate 5 this is fine. That clumsy scraper is a perfectly constructed instrument for the purpose and shows the influence of a scraper on the blade. Makes this Centwin at least last longer than 6 times.
Result: BBS.
Finally: Although irritation free and damage free shaved, a good finish is important, if only for the pleasant smell! So Proraso Con Olio di Sandalo AS, TFS Crazy Sandalwood ASB and Loris So Oud Edp on it.
Great job again.

The origin of the razor is a bit of a mysterie. The etching is kabran. It came in one part kabrand case (lower part). It is marked Solingen. I can not find anything on kabran.
I honed it on shapton, coticule and a Thüringen bout. Shave was good enough.

This morning I used the Semogue SOC Badger Cherrywood brush with Eufros Ylang Ylang soap. That sample has also run out. This Eufros is not for me either. Last time I found the Ylang Ylang fragrance indescribable and unrecognizable and that didn't get any better. Citrus? No. Fougère? Not at all. Spicy / wood? also a not. Couldn't it indicate, not distasteful that scent, but certainly not inviting, although technically still a good soap, although there are many of them, of which I do appreciate the smell.

The Centwin Super Platinium for the 7th x used.
The Centwin Super Platinium surprises me this morning. The 7th turn was just normal good again and he can do 1x tomorrow. After that it will be finished. The light Phoenix Alpha Ecliptic Slant Ox Blod was also certainly a cause, that the Centwin Super Platinium still gave a good turn, although it is noticeable that the blade has passed its peak. But good 7x is a nice result for these kinds of blades. With a heavy beard I think he had already died 2 turns before.
Result: BBS.
Finally: The care needs some extra attention this morning, as the skin didn't feel very comfortable last night, so after the Pinaud-Clubman After shave lotion Original the extra good caring Braukmann Sport Cream was put on. Loris E-113 Hermes Terry as the final touch for that extra accent and ready for the day.

No photo today .. time to use a safety razor again. this time the Maggard slant .. I had pushed a Lord blade into it. Soap this time was the Stirling mountain man .. delicious soap, which is best absorbed when you hold it upside down and load the wd 30mm. Finally a nice splash Mont Blanc Legend. A RnS shave.

Funny how the cheapest blade in my modest collection belongs to the top performers. Everytime again.
Its been a while since I used the TFS. Also a top performer with a lovely scent.
