Then you start looking forward to hot wood stoves (sorry for the environmental freaks), peat-tasting whiskies (sorry for the total abstaining), St Nicholas (with all-black servants and not the half-hearted soot-sweeping replacements) and the warm scent of the Sandalwood shaving soaps.

And if you then shave in one go the scents of ST. James, Dr Harris and TOBS combines the mission is completely successful.

First shave with the new soap from Catie’s Bubbles. For me this is a perfect match. I would describe the scent as a fresh but masculine tea scent. I realy enjoy tea scents and this one is a nice addition to the collection.

The H&S and the Timor blade did the job very well. Totally BBS and no stinging of the alcohol. Have a good weekend!
