*Can'tGood for you, you will probably need 100k $$$ set aside for that. Not even a warehouse full of Butler razors can cut it.

The first disposable razor was a wooden women's razor, the E-Kon-I-Me, made by Woodward Williams in 1917.You guys got me interested in Slants and plastic toy razors aka "Bakelite razors". I even bought a vintage wooden razor from Japan.
Question for you guys, I started looking into slants but one guy put a Fasan at 130 Euros and a Bohin (not slant but with bakelite box) at 600 Euros. Are these reasonable prices? Because if they are, then I have to reconsider going into that direction. Just revert back to I concentrate on. Historical significance and creative engineering.
$1200-$1600 according to Hazelkorn.Good for you, you will probably need 100k $$$ set aside for that. Not even a warehouse full of Butler razors can cut it.
Where the Bohin listed? EBAY USA?You guys got me interested in Slants and plastic toy razors aka "Bakelite razors". I even bought a vintage wooden razor from Japan.

Unless 'Buy it now'? Or no active auctions full stop?ridiculous money for this razor but it will pop up when you search for it. We have a no active auction link policy on this forum.

100k is way off. We don't have the very wealthy people in this hobby. But if the wealthy get into the hobby. Then we'd better buckle up, or better, stock up.$1200-$1600 according to Hazelkorn.
Yes - I know...
$100k seems a bit steep. North of $10k seems probable though.

I found one for 54 euros. Seems much more reasonable. Honestly since I am not used to the bakelite razors, I though they will be selling for 9.99$ or you get one free if you buy a pack of blades. This stuff is proving expensive for what it is.If I remember correctly I once payed around €35 for a NOS fasan, €15 for a really used one in a leather travel bag, and around €20 for another nice travelset (see the fasan thread).
But I guess I really got lucky and to have patience. The used one with the slightly discoloured handle is the only one I have used. It feels smoother then the phoenix tribute.
Buongiorno, sei disposto a vendere il multiplex dorato?I've a gold Mvltiplex, no dome, no blades, missing plate 1, that is a tradable item. Can even add a silver handle to it![]()
Mi dispiace, è già stato venduto.Buongiorno, sei disposto a vendere il multiplex dorato?
I always wanted to know what people are looking for. If you have only 3 or five you're looking for that's fine too.
Here are mine in no particular order (Let me know if you have one of them):
- Monks razor
- Fontaine razor
- Thy-lo
- Multiplex
- Razor six
- Sport/Sparto
- Auguste bain (L-Shaped)
- Rosen Razor
- Mann's razor
- Rythmic Razor
so which are the new 5?I was able to get those:
2 years and a half later since posting this thread.
