Snowbeard Well-Known Member Saturday at 10:53 PM #82 The number of vintage DE razors that are on my "Still Needed" list is waning. My wife is pleased. The proper conclusion to draw, of course, is: "Perusing up to 20 online websites, pretty much daily, for the last 12 years or so, and forking over extraordinary amounts of cash, has paid off!" There will always be "new additions" to the list. That become "immediately needed". On remarkably short notice (ha ha). Here's the latest addition to my list, and immediately needed (obviously): "The Instanter". From Argentina. Got one? Or should I just say.... seen one?

Snowbeard Well-Known Member Saturday at 11:07 PM #83 While I'm on a roll, I'll add a couple more vintage razors I'd like to acquire. Or, at least see someone acquire. Here's two, both from Norway I believe. The Bessegg. And the Torpedo.

efsk Absurd hero Moderator SU-Patron Gold Yesterday at 9:30 PM #85 That Instanter looks like a kind of DE Lathercatcher?

The interest for me would be just that they are made in Norway. That fact alone makes them rare and unusual enough to be interesting to me. If I was able to actually see one maybe I'd be like you're suggesting Walid and just go ho hum... Also the Torpedo name is interesting given Norway's use of these weapons during the last world war. Maybe not as interesting as the Italians naming a razor "Radar" but close...
