Sometimes you just pick the exact right brush for the day. Today, it was the very dense, but marvelously soft Declaration. I need more of those.
After saturdays shave, I took the Matador apart yesterday, then used the microadjustmentkey and turned and turned and turned until I managed to align the 1 with the mildest position again. Now the bladegap is decent. Took the razor for a spin on position 3 and it performed and delivered. Not quite Progress qualityshave, but more pleasant than a slim or fatboy.

Last few weeks I saw the Lutz coming by in a lot of sotd. Comments were positive. So I decided to use mine.

The combination with the shark was good. The first pass with agressive side. Subsequent passes with the mild side; an enjoyable shave.

Today the eminent Karl Engels was allowed to take office again and what a mighty vintage razor this is.

Extremely effective and just a little less comfort as the Paradigm but because of its two different shaving edges in the base plate you can choose what suits you best or less or more efficiency.

I started the shave with a Voskhod but I didn't like that at all so after one pass the Nacet was placed in it and that was a relief, what a nice blade this is.

Another fine shave with the Lutz. Great to take inspiration of the SOTD.

La maison du barbier shaving cream is a cream I want to finish. I also have the soap I would like to use, but I will only start after I finish the cream. The cream itself produces a nice lather. The scent I find hard to describe. It contains silicones and should be used with a synthetic brush.

The Vulfix 404 Grosvenor mixed Badger and Boar Bristle and TFS Crazy Sandalwood are the perfect start to a classic shave for me. Good material and nice odors.
Blade and razor:
The Racer Super Class Platinum for the 5th x used.
The Racer Super Class Platinum reached my 5 standard. In the Gillette Tech a basic razor, the Racer Super Class Platinum shows its full potential. Good shearing, but not like a Rapira or Kai etc.
Result: BBS.
Finally: Refresh with Eyüp Sabri Tuncer Tütün, grease and moisturize with TFS Crazy Sandalwood ASB and a nice mystical and woody scent of the Loris So Oud.
