Brush and soap:
Shavemac Silvertip D01 2 band bulb 24 mm x 50 mm Jungle Moss and Martin de Candre Vetiver:
A fine brush and soap and bowl to start a nice turn: Shavemac Silvertip D01 2 band bulb 24 mm x 50 mm Jungle Moss, Martin de Candre Vetiver and a bowl, which I found last week at the Action for €1.99 with a rough jute motif. That foams nicely and is nice and spacious to work in. Think I'll have to get a few more against falling apart and for the caravan, when we can travel again because of the coronavirus. Anyway, I had a nice MDC foam in a top brush.
Blade and razor:
Used the Gillette 7'O Clock Sharp Edge for the 1st time.
A fresh blade this morning, the Gillette 7'O Clock Sharp Edge. This one has a life expectancy of 5 turns, that's my norm. If they don't make it, blades are inferior with my beard. Ergo no match by experience, but the miracles aren't out of the world. Well in the Ikon X3, this Gillette 7'O Clock Sharp Edge is unreliable. Well, I don't think it's very special either, and this combi clearly shows that. With the grain just a few cuts right away. With a little more attention I continued to shave and then it went well. However, I think the blade will get another chance tomorrow, but if it doesn't go better, the rest of the blades will go in the museum box! Well shaved in the end, but that can be done better. Two hours later my wife goes over my head with her hand and asks you haven't shaved here? That blade will have to do its best tomorrow!
Result: BBS.
Finally: after a good foam, a bit less hardware, cheered up with Rebul Dark Spice, Vivo Per Lei Hyacinth Hand & Body Lotion and another puff Loris E-162 Viktor & Rolf Spicebomb. Satisfied, but not excellent.
