The Dutch shavers are verry nice, freindly and clever people.
The only reasson why i used Vergulde Hand was because i was sending out a warning to other members here , " DON,T TRY THIS AT HOME " .
Next time i use a good Menthol soap.

Speaking of menthol today, the menthol mill is being used generously......perhaps a little too generously because KNMI in deBilt observed a cold drop of 29 degrees Celsius.

This hard soap from Musgo Real performes like the musgo real cream. A little hard to get soap of the puck (or I am spoiled with MdC). It's a veggie soap but with the glycerine it glides like a tellow soap. I am not sure if there is lanolin added.
The odeur is really classic and that is in this case a soap smell.

@Hellas I had a situation in an English Hotelrestaurant once, where I ordered the Beef Burger. The waitress asked me if that was the vegetarian one, I answered her "It probably was when it was still alive."

Yaqi R1605-S Tuxedo and Simpson Sandalwood:
This morning a 2nd trial with a monster sandalwood. The Yaqi R1605-S Tuxedo made a nice foam of the Simpson Sandalwood. Not a firm airy foam, but that Bulgarian yogurt, which spreads well and glides well. The smell is also fine, but not really firm. We're pretty woody, but also unfortunately a hint of cinnamon, which always gives a sweet direction to sandalwood, which I don't aspire to. Just give me a nice bunch of wood.
Blade and razor:
The Gillette 7'O Clock Sharp Edge used for the 3rd time.
This Gillette 7'O Clock Sharp Edge really needs a running-in period. This morning for the 3e x and it shaves easier and smoother than the previous shaves. The Gillette New, attached on a light aluminium grip, makes a nice combination with the Gillette 7'O Clock Sharp Edge. Well shaved, a bit cautious considering the 2 previous turns, but no further irritation or whatever.
Result: BBS.
Finally: In wood style finished with the Proraso Con Olio di Sandalo AS, TFS Crazy Sandalwood ASB and the Loris So Oud.
