Brush and soap:
Omega 10019 and Cyril R. Salter Sublime Citrus:
Nice light fresh shave this morning. Citrus is one of my favorite scents. After prepping with 3p La Crema Prodigio with the Omega 10019 a nice full lather prepared from the Cyril R. Salter Sublime Citrus. This soft soap gives such a beautiful fresh lather, lemon without menthol and yet refreshing.
Blade and razor:
The Gillette Platinum for the 7th x used. The Gillette Platinum has a surprising endurance. After 7x it is not yet ripe for the piggy bank. 1x I think it's still in it and with that it more than reaches my average for a blade without feeling much reduced on the quality of the shave. In the Lutz Slant the Gillette Platinum is still doing surprisingly well. Could it compete with the Rapira PL or Wizamet etc.? Result BBS.
Finally: With the Cyril citrus the Eyüp Sabri Tuncer Kolonya Klasik Limon is perfect.Further care with the Seinz. After Shave Balsam and nice smell of the Loris E-048 Cool Water made this turn again a pleasant whole.

The skin hasn't completely calmed down yet, but it swelled to the point where I dared to take the Tatara which I bought from @dajd94 which I'm allowed to test.

It is clear that this is also a highly efficient razor that remains comfortable.

Tomorrow the plan is that it will go back to its owner I can use it one more time. ;)
 
It's nice to have more light in the evening... ...you can fool around a little more. With all kinds of chores...

It's been awhile since I used the original, but it's a nice copy!
The heft of the razor is something I have to get used to, it is the first lighter razor that, with the first stroke, feels like I can get used to.
 
So yesterday i finished my new bathroom by hanging up my 2 strops, so the first proper shave, and a very nice one it was.

Brush and soap:
Vulfix 404 Grosvenor mixed Badger and Boar Bristle and Mitchells Woolfat:
Opening with Proraso Crema Pre Barba gives a nice cool head. Then gently foam with the Vulfix 404 Grosvenor mixed Badger and Boar Bristle from the Mitchells Woolfat, which requires a little attention, but is also rewarded with a voluptuous fat foam. That lubricated on the head was an excellent opening.
Blade and razor:
The Gillette Platinum for the 8th x used. The Gillette Platinum stays at 8x. 8 good shaves. This blade has surprised me greatly, it' s certainly good. As far as I'm concerned, it's a worthy blade, but I'd like to try some more first. With the Merkur 510 Progress was the Gillette Platinum still pretty shaving, but there was clearly more pull noticeable and it was not evident smooth at the top. Result BBS.
Finally: The Duru Kolonya Limon is a fresh fruity edc. The Weleda Aftershave Balsam gives the necessary regeneration, after which the Loris E-108 Hugo is a nice finish after the neutral MWF.

The combi with the Treet classic instead of the durasharp is better. This razor is thorough. Two pass shave and all gone.

The Tatara turns out to be a fantastic razor and in combination with the Treet Dura Sharp, which is also new to me, you have a very efficient and comfortable razor.
So a combination that gives a big smile on your face. :daumenhoch

The Bleubeards pre-shave gives a lot of value for money because after removing the last leftover today it turns out that I have used it 137 times.
If there is a new purchase the answer is no. The oil was a little too thick for me I prefer the thinner versions of American Crew, Treufitt&Hill etc.
