That is possible.

Note to every one wondering why Scott can make 2 reservations: n°47 is a Coticule from the previous batch and thus outside the ones in the reservation window. These hones can be reserved immediately.

Reservation window for this batch is closed. The results are transfered to the first post of this thread.

I will make some additional comments about the stones later this weekend.
The gentlemen who receive a credit point will see a "+1" appear under their user name.
Even though Dennis tried to reserve one that wasn't available, I will also grant him a credit point, because I didn't notice his mistake an sooner.

Please send me an e-mail to confirm your reservation, within the next week. At that point, I will forward your e-mail address to Ardennes, and they'll contact you to arrange for payment and shipment.

Unless, in your opinion, it would be a step back from #25 in terms of edge smoothness. In this case I will take back my reservation.

n°25 will probably get you a "brisk" or "engaging" edge. I didn't use these finishing designations back then, and I don't recall the stones well enough to add such a qualification on stones I tested long time ago. But La Dressantes are typically brisk or engaging. n°60 delivers a "mellow" edge, but don't come complaining if you find the difference rather small. I never stated otherwise. I think you can safely try one, as it can be sold without loosing a dime.

str8ghtShaver, there is no "end date". Here you have the updated list of available stones from the second (current) batch and, if I'm not mistaken, here are the stones available from the first batch, but you should confirm it with Bart.

Not that much of a choice, though...

You could also contact Maurice at the Ardennes and ask for a specific layer. He is a very helpful guy! But if want one from the Vault,you`ll have to wait for Bart`s reservation list.
