I'm in the midst of figuring out more about this brand and where it came from, so more on that later (unless y'all have some info, which you are very welcome to share). First some razors.

The next few posts will detail this beautiful trio of slants:

First the Punktal TR66a. A slant of the non-torqued variety, instead you can tilt the head. It has three positions, varying from nearly regular to beyond 45° which even for me is unusable.
Apart from the fact that I've gotten this NOS there are two points of interest: the head is a lathercatcher, not often seen on a DE, and it is differential: it has one side marked "Vorrasur" that forces a different angle than the other side: Vorrasur rides the comb, the other side the cap.

Next the TR66. Same razor as above, except the handle is metal. Paperwork is identical, so not photographed.
Funny thing is: These razors were on the bay simultaneously, and I bid on both. Not sure whether I lost on the 66 or the 66a, but learned later the one I did not get went to the wife of a North-German razor-afficionado I sometimes trade with. She bought it as a present for him on occasion of their weddinganniversay. He liked the razor, but not how it shaved, so then traded it against something I had. I don't know what the impact of this was on his marriage.

Third, the smallest, yet most expensive (according to the box) of the three: the model 100. It has the metal handle the TR66 has, but the head is the same differential head as the Lutz and many more have.

Interesting. So, like the Darwins, Punktal produced a "normal" version of their slants. I wonder why, as a lather catcher DE is really an interesting concept.

The Punktal 100 was also available in a bit more luxurious version. Same, well a bit larger, blue shipper (which unfortunately I don't have), that contained a white plastic case with room for razor and blades. The amazing thing is, that case was shaped like a razorblade.

Great that even the packaging is so detailed and a very nice grip.

The nr 104 appears to be a cheaper, simpler model, at 1,25 DM. Closed comb, and a traditional ball end handle. I got three in this box, with almost black handles, I assume some silver plating though.

Another pretty one. Shipper, missing one flap, dark blue with gold. Punktal typenumber is 101. The razor has one OC and one SB side, as have more vintage razors, but we now know why iKon branded their dualcombed razor 101.
This razor shaves utterly terrific.

How can you identify the dual comb punktal from an emir? I recently got an open comb razor with the same head design.

Punktal has Punktal on the bottom of the handle, Emir usually a red rhombus with an E inside somewhere on the side of the handle, but not always. The head has been sold as Engels as well, on a less elaborate handle. Possibly your handle has been sold under other brand names as well.

The topcap of the punktal looks a little bit thicker. @The King has an Engels. He can probably spot the differences.

It also has a better fit. Yours may be a replacement.

I always find that very difficult to say because I miss the necessary knowledge of Vintage scrapers in its entirety.

That's why I love to read all your posts.

But forward I see one big difference with the above shown bottom plates compared to those of my Karl Engels.

In the pictures above you can see that the bottom of the top plate has a nice flowing curve in contrast to that of my Karl English which has two sharp bends.

The same is the handle which is a few mm. sunk in the top plate while screwing it in place.

Interesting know that I look at the details I see the differences. Mine will be categorized in the 'producer unknown'.

I have never shaved with it. I will do in the near future
