In normaal cases I only use a blade twice. However, the Voskhod stays Sharp and Smooth After 4 shaves. I had a period that Voskhod blades gave me not the smoothest shaves, but that seems to be not the case anymore. Have a good day!

Still no R41 in possession it looks to intimidating for me. Even with a sharp feather it’s to much. I keep it save with a Timeless or a Fatip.

@UnShaven with which Timeless do you compare the R41 is this the 0.68 or 0.95 version and is this the Smooth of Scalloped version?

I have the Timeless 0.95 OC in Ti and SS both scalloped top plate. I like the Ti more because the lack of weight and a more smooth feeling on the skin.
The Ti I can use as a daily driver and the SS I can only use daily with some blades.

As I promised yesterday a shave with my favourite Stirling soap, the Black cherry glacial. Long on my wishlist but during a short education trip to the US this year I was able to order it, for a normal price .
The Spalding razor is so beautiful that I’am always afraid to use it, stupid because it shaves like a dream.
Nice lather with the new Shavemac makes the day compleet.

The hard water on my vacation address is very good to reduce my soap mountain, a longish 30 second load of Proraso just give enough soap for 3 rounds and a small touch up.
