Brush and soap:
Mühle Silvertip 3 band and Razor Master Santtu (Sandalwood):
With the Mühle Silvertip 3 band already the 4th Razor Master soap trial, the Razor Master Santtu (Sandalwood). Just like the other soaps I find the smell of this one a bit subtle, but a very useful soap. Nice foam and pure scent.
Blade and razor:
The Kai Stainless Steel for the 3rd x used.
The Kai Stainless Steel does as expected its 3rd turn. Flashy sharp and tight shaving. In the RazoRock Game Changer 0.84-P is the Kai Stainless Steel only more pleasant to shave with. Beautifully smooth shaved. The foam of the Razor Master also makes the combination run smoothly over the skin.
Result: BBS.
Finally: Fixed drill, some alum, Eyüp Sabri Tuncer Tütün edc for a fresh finish, TFS Crazy Sandalwood ASB to take care of the skin and the Loris So Oud for the girls.
Great start of this new week.

@The King what is your opinion about the Treet Platinum blades?
For me it are well performing blades. Sharp and effective.

This was the first time I used the Treet Platinum and that's a bit too early to make a final judgement.
I want to test it in several razors for a final judgement.

But forward after one use I can't put it on the same level as my Gillette favorites and I certainly don't find it as smooth as the Treet Black Beauty.

Arko stick
Cheap Turkish synth boar
Mkeramiek bowl
Le Grelot 355 6/8
Osma alum
Proraso green preshave cream as asb

Somewhat weird combination of stuff.
As much as I like the properties of the soap I just cannot get around the scent unfortunately.
The brush has bristles like the fishingline you use to catch giant pikes on crystalclear Swedish lakes,
Nevertheless they create a beautiful lather effortlessly.
With this razor, the 1st passes always feel a bit scratchy. The 2nd and 3rd pass no problem. In the end there is little to none irritation.
In the end a close and comfortable result.

Brush and soap:
Semogue SOC Bristle Cherrywood and Razor Master Pete (Bay Rum):
Bay Rum is a fragrance that continues to intrigue me, so I also have this in my new collection Razor Master. This morning in the brush, the Semogue SOC Bristle Cherrywood with the Razor Master Pete (Bay Rum). A good soap, gives nice foam, smells good, but still subtle.
Blade and razor:
The Kai Stainless Steel for the 4th x used.
The Kai Stainless Steel is again in top form. Great knife for the 4th x. In the Gillette New Made in England the Kai Stainless Steel is very easy to use. No angular sensitivity, effective and absolutely not biting.
Result: BBS.
Finally: The Bay Rum soap asked for a nice spicy finish, so Rebul Dark Spice edc, own Bay Rum Harkos® ASB and Bay Rum Harkos® AS. Old-fashioned tasty.

@The King what is your opinion about the Treet Platinum blades?
For me it are well performing blades. Sharp and effective.
When ordering at BdF I recently received a box of Treet Platinum Super Stainless Steel blades as a nice gift. Reason enough to use this knife again. I like the Treet carbon knives, but in December 2015 I used this Stainless Steel knife for the first time and was certainly not impressed by it. Now I'm already a few years further and technique is richer plus a few fine razors. I have to admit that my experience is a lot more positive now. This Treet still can't match my favourite blades, but it's coming a long way in the right direction. No rawness at all, exaggerated angular sensitivity, but a fairly reliable shaving feeling. For me it falls in the bandwidth of middle class blades. If they were available in the shop at the corner, I would like to buy them if necessary. But yes, I do not need them with a stock, which is now sufficient until I am 156.
So you see again, that something can change over time, because the previous experience and reactions were certainly less positive.

1- razor: RazoRock Game Changer 0.84-P
A fresh Treet Platinum Super Stainless. What a delicious knife after 6x Zorrik. Then you will notice differences only when they are so significant. Is the 1st x for this, but in December 2015 also one used and when I read back it was average, but not special. However, that feels better now. Let's see how this develops, but was not wrong.
Of course he was in the Game Changer now and it does something positive with knives, which makes them look better.

2- razor: Gillette Fat Boy adjustable
The Treet delivers a pleasant shave this time as well. This knife is fine cut. Does not suffer from angular sensitivity and gives a smooth cut.
In the Fat Boy at 6 beautiful position for both the bakkes, and the skull. Round to make it nice and smooth again.

3- razor: Timeless Solid Bar scalloped 0.68
The knife is reasonably predictable and does its job as well as it did yesterday. Good cut and pleasant skin feeling.
Well, the 0.68 Timeless is also a forgiving razor, but with a bad knife it doesn't get good. This was fine.

4- razor: Above The Tie S1
It's getting a little monotonous with this Treet. 4th round, equal to the 2nd and 3rd. Good cut, nice skin feeling, reliable, but not top like the Rapira PL etc., but certainly not wrong.
In the ATT S1 similar to the Game Changer. All around perfectly smooth without damage or irritation.

5- razor: Timeless Solid Bar scalloped 0.95
The Treet easily reaches my 5 standard. Smooth cut yet and no strange cures of the knife.
In the 0.95 Timeless he is clearly present and even pulls a small wound on the back of my head, but that's a place that is regularly visited, if I don't pay attention for a while. That's not specific for this combination and nothing that can't be repaired with alum. The knife is just rim enough nh of quality.

6- razor: Rockwell Razors 6s
The Treet shows again that the knife has reasonable and constant quality. Again a nice smooth shave. With some attention the beard has disappeared and the roof is smooth again. It is noticeable, that this was the 6th turn, but tomorrow it can be done again.
In the Rockwell 6s with plate 6 a reliable and efficient combination with constant cut without any significant angular sensitivity. Pretty nice.

7- razor: RazoRock Game Changer 0.84-P
This time I can tell by the knife that it's quite worn out. It still shaves, but 7x is enough. So it goes into the piggy bank.
Although the knife is noticeably less, the combination with the Game Changer still has a chance to shave nice and smooth. Not BBS, but certainly not much less, so a DFS. The skull could have been smoother on the back, but I can't see that.

Pre-Shave: Balea oil
Shaving Soap: Alphy & Becs Cedarwood
After Shave: Pinaud Whisky Woods

Shaving Brush: Shavemac 24 mm. Fan Silvertip 2 Bander

DE-Razor: Merkur Progress
DE- Blade: Treet Platinum 2x

The Alphy & Becs with its delicious scent of Cedarwood should of course not be missed in the Advent period. :weihnachten1

When we spent Christmas in our Chalet in the woods we used to take a small Christmas tree out of the forest and you also smelled that delicious green.

The second deployment of the Treet did not lead to a different insight, as was the case with Harkos. I keep finding it a mediocre blade that lacks the "suppleness" that I do find in my Gillette favorites. :(

m-keramiek scuttle
TFS tabacco verde

Not convinced about the razor's sharpness. Nonetheless a nice shave.

Have a nice evening.
