the razor i used was ralfys razor honed on coticule. As it was the first time i shaved liam, i did not no his beard that well. Also it is very differant for me using a razor i never held before. the thing i notice about a traditional straight , is you can use a little pressure and get away with it. most likely because they sooo forgiving. yes bart i use minimal pressure but keep the motion going, i find with a straight you have to do this . If you do a stroke and stop and then start again you loose rithym, so its best to keep the motion going . liam had a good weeks plus growth, ralfy will tell you. The other thing is you have to listen to the razor. If the razor is shaving along, and all of a suden i get a feeling where i feel i have to realy push to shave the stubble , i stop right there. This tells me i will be shaving atg and this may cause bleeding or tearing. Remember i don't no if liams skin can take atg. i asked him and he said he gets blood spots in his neck and it is sore after he has shaved.. i did actauly shave atg in the area, right at the end , the secret is to keep the blade completely flat and go slow .
we should of done a video of ralfy and me shaving how selfes. may be that what we will do next.

Sometimes, routine is a killer. This morning I went a step back. I paid close attention to every stroke and I carefully respected your tips. Short strokes, a very light touch, and a dead-flat blade atg. Wonderful Sir, just wonderful!
Thanks buddy!
is this why it seems you use only 2/3 of the blade or because it gives you more control.garyhaywood said:i normaly use shavette on a customer.

You know, Ralphy, I realized that wasn't you as soon as I posted but was too lazy to edit it. Still didn't answer the question about Liam's tats. Is that your work--very interesting, buddy. Denny
