Prices of stones in the Vault

Indeed. N°50 is still free. The reservation is yours.
However, if you read the thread about it carefully, (http://www.coticule.be/the-cafeteria/topic/401.html), you'll notice that you can purchase exactly the same one directly from Ardennes Coticule. The have a few of these, only n°50 is at my home. With that one, you'll have to wait till I return it in May, but the others (they're all cut from the same large rock of Coticule) can be bought immediately. Just follow the instructions I've announced in the thread.

In the mean time, I'll write your name on my n°50. If you get one from Ardennes, please let me know.

If number 30 is still available, I am interested. Or if you have one similar to 35. I would prefer a combo with the bbw like 35 has.
 
N°30 is still available, but it's not a combination Coticule with BBW.
N°50 is the same layer, but with BBW. There are several of those available at Ardennes, at reduced price because the Coticule is not very thick (yet thick enough to hone a razor per week for the next 20 years or more). Please read the thread about n°50 for more information.

Yes, I still have the reservation, but the anticipation is killing me. If it actually does kill me, you would be next in line for the stone.

I also wanted to reserve number 50, but I guess that would be too greedy. I contacted Ardennes about the stones that they have in their possession. They told me that they have 3 of them at 200x87 mm and 1 that's 193x86 mm. But this was two weeks ago, so some are probably gone. The price was very, very good, but these stones are gigantic. Most would probably consider that a positive characteristic, but after using the DMT 8000, I promised myself I would never get a stone wider than 2 inches again.

I'm still busy writing the thread about n°51. But rules are that your can make your reservation as soon as the test sheet is updated in the Vault. Congratulations, this is one of the nicest of the Vault.

I have watched the vault for the last two weeks waiting for that one to be released (last weekend I was pretty pathetic because all I did was sit here waiting on it), and was updating my password because I can't remember mine here while that one was being published.... I guarantee I hit the vault at least a thousand times lol...

Congrats on being in the right place at the right time :w00t: :thumbup:
