feedback:
slurry: a sensation of very fine abrasion, typical sound of “sharpening steel” Slurry turns black quickly.
water:a very faint sensation of very fine abrasion. No draw.
Slurry specifics: good slurry release, but requires a bit of extra work.
Sharpness level coming off slurry: +/++ (range: + shaves my armhair barely, ++ shaves my armheir well, +++ sufficient to shave my face)
Finishing properties, water only: water only: excellent. hone leaves an amazingly smooth and skin-friendly edge.
Dilucot: follow standard procedure. Dilutiion must be executed with precision and care.
Unicot: follow standard procedure. Very smooth results.
Touch-up hone, use with water: excellent touch up properties. 10-30 laps depending edge condition.
Additional remark: This is a very hard Coticule, with very fine but decent abrassion on water only. Hones razors well. Would be very suitable for the sharpening of fine and pointy jewelry tools and alikes. The speckled part of the surface offers extra abrasion on clear water.
